From the large, shaded terrace you can watch the sun rise or set against the spectacular mountain back drop. There is a constant breeze from the mountains.
This is the view from the terrace. Over the garden wall there are terrapins and crabs living in a small irrigation ditch.
Beyond is a pomegranate orchard and the foot of the mountain. There are 3 hammocks in the garden, a swing and 1 hammock chair for guests to use. It is amazing to lie in the hammocks and gaze at the stars at night, or by day to relax in the shade, reading and dozing!
The garden is large, there are mulberry and eucalyptus trees and a variety of Mediterranean plants, including hibiscus, melissa, blue jasmine and citrus trees. Storks are often seen flying over the valley and each year in April they nest at the top of a eucalyptus tree very close to the house. There are four mountain bikes included with the house. They really are the best way to get around.

A new addition in April 2008 is the Turkish style garden seating-the korsk. This is a raised, cushioned platform where you can really relax in the shade of one of the eucalyptus trees.
