Close to Dalyan are the amber nectar forests. The resin from these beautiful and graceful trees is harvested for perfumes and cosmetics.

This photo was taken on the 12 islands cruise. This day long cruise on sailing boat or motor boat, leaves from Gocek harbour and takes you round the  12 islands off the coast. There are many breaks for swimming and snorkelling and you can buy pancakes on the beach. See below.

On the beach you can buy traditionally made Turkish pancakes filled with chocolate, honey, cheese, potato, banana or meat. They are a cheap and delicious snack.
